Q: I need a server with massive storage (over 1,000 megabytes) and massive bandwidth (over 10,000 megabytes per month). Do you have any plans that would suit me?

A: We recommend purchasing CO-LOCATION or a DEDICATED SERVER. With co-location you may build your own machine, matching your specific specifications with as fast a processor and as large a hard drive you wish. We will then host this server on our network for $375/month; this includes 50,000 megabytes of transfer per month. Our dedicated servers are available with various powered CPU's and hard drive sizes ranging from 4 gigaabytes to 120 gigabytes with RAID and non-RAID configurations. These servers are available from approximately $400/month to $850/month with a 12-month lease. You will also have the option to purchase your server at any time at which time you will only have to pay collocation fees for the server ($375 per month). SpeedyWebHost.com can also build a server to your exact specifications. You will retain ownership of the custom server and will be charged for the cost of parts and labor. Once the machine is finished you will be charged co-location fees to host it on our network.

Q: I am currently being hosted with and I wish to switch to SpeedyWebHost.com. Are there any discounts for switching from a competitor?

A: By showing proof that you are currently hosted with a competitor with a comparable level of service as SpeedyWebHost.com we will waive the setup fee for your selected account. In order to show proof that you are hosting with a competitor you will be required to fax, email or mail your most recent invoice, unaltered, to SpeedyWebHost.com.

Q: What billing methods to you accept?

A: SpeedyWebHost.com accepts payment in the form of Checks, Money Orders, Visa and MasterCard. We will bill you via invoice (by email). All accounts are billed semi-annually one month in advance (i.e. your March bill will be invoiced in February). You may also choose to have invoices sent via postal mail or fax; either of these choices will incur an additional service charge of $3.00 per invoice. You may prepay for service in 1 year increments and get one month free.

Q: I just purchased a web hosting account, how long until my website will become active?

A: Your virtual web host server should be active within one business day of your purchase. Response time to the activation of your chosen domain name depends on your domain registrar.

Q: I just purchased a dedicated server. How long until my server is available?

A: You should have been quoted a time-to-live when you purchased your server. Generally this time is 1-2 weeks (1 week to build your server and install the software, a few days for full configuration of the basic software and a few days to installation at our Network Center). If your server was custom designed by you to be built by us then your time may vary depending on part availability.

Q: I purchased a server co-location and mailed you my server, how long until my server will be available on your network?

A: You should have been quoted a time-to-live when you purchased your server. Generally this time is 1 week from the date we receive your server in our office. We must configure your server to be secure on our network, then install it at our Network Center.
